This policy explains what information MCAT.Life collects, how we use it, and the choices you have.
MCAT.Life is operated by Miles Ahead Learning, LLC, a Florida limited liability company ("MCAT.Life," "we," "us"). This policy covers our website, our checkout and trial pages, and the Infinite MCAT practice platform (together, the "Service"). It is part of our Terms of Service. Effective date: October 6, 2026.
We collect what you give us, what your practice creates, and basic technical data.
| Category | Examples | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|
| Account and contact | Name, email address, contact ID, trial and subscription status, access end date | You, when you sign up or buy |
| Billing | Plan, charge dates, payment status. Card details go to our payment processor, Stripe, and we do not receive your full card number | You and Stripe |
| Practice data | Questions shown, your answers, whether each was correct, time per question, topics and sections practiced, session history, performance profile | Created as you use the Service |
| Reports | The performance reports and study recommendations we produce for you | Generated from your practice data |
| Free demo | Your email address and your demo results, such as your score by section | You, when you request your demo results |
| Technical | IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, security and error logs | Your browser and our hosting provider |
| Messages | Emails and support requests you send us, and delivery and open data for emails we send | You and our email tools |
We do not intentionally collect sensitive information, such as health information or government ID numbers.
We use your information to run the Service and make your practice better, and not for unrelated purposes.
Questions and reports are written with artificial intelligence, and we send the AI provider only what it needs to do that.
We use Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, to write practice questions and explanations. Writing questions does not use your personal information. To write your performance report and study recommendations, we send Anthropic a summary of your practice results, such as topics, accuracy, and timing, along with your first name so the report can address you. Your free demo results are not sent to an AI provider.
Under Anthropic's commercial terms, content we send through its service is not used to train its models unless a customer opts in, and we have not opted in. Anthropic deletes this content from its systems within a set period, currently up to 30 days, and may keep it longer if it is flagged for misuse of its policies or if the law requires. We do not use your practice data to train AI models of our own.
We share information only with service providers who help us run the Service, and in a few other limited cases. We do not sell your personal information.
| Provider type | What it does for us |
|---|---|
| Customer and checkout platform (Course Creator 360) | Hosts our checkout, stores contact records, sends emails, and runs our workflows |
| Payment processor (Stripe) | Takes your payment and handles your card details |
| Cloud hosting and database (Cloudflare) | Runs the Service and stores practice data |
| Website analytics and security (Cloudflare) | Counts visits, measures how our pages perform, and checks that people at checkout are not bots |
| AI provider (Anthropic) | Writes questions, explanations, and reports |
| Fonts (Google Fonts) | Supplies the typefaces on our pages, so your browser contacts Google when a page loads |
| Email and messaging tools | Deliver our emails and support messages |
Providers may use your information only to perform services for us.
We may also share information to follow the law or a legal request, to protect the rights, safety, and security of you, us, or others, and in a merger, sale, or transfer of the business. If a transfer would put your information under a different policy, we will tell you first.
We use cookies and browser storage to keep the Service working and to remember your session.
Cookies are small files your browser saves. We and our providers use them to keep you signed in, run checkout, remember your settings and session, and protect against abuse. We also use Cloudflare's website analytics to count visits and measure how our pages perform. We do not run advertising or ad-tracking tools. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the Service may stop working.
We keep your information while you have an account and for 12 months after it ends, unless the law requires longer. If you only used the free demo, we keep your email address and results until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.
We keep billing and tax records for as long as the law requires. We keep practice records so your history stays accurate and you do not see questions you have already answered. If you ask us to delete your data, we delete or anonymize it as described in Section 8. We may keep anonymous or combined data that cannot identify you.
You can see, correct, or delete your information, and you can opt out of marketing at any time.
To make a request, email [email protected] from the address on your account. We may need to confirm it is you, and we will respond within 45 days.
State privacy rights. Residents of some states, including California, have added rights, such as the right to know what we collect, to correct or delete it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we will not treat you differently for using these rights.
We use reasonable safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.
We use encrypted connections (HTTPS) and limit access to our systems and data. Access to your practice data is controlled by your account, so keep your access link and email private, and tell us at [email protected] if you think someone else has used your account. If a breach affects your information, we will tell you as the law requires.
The Service is not for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
If you are under 18, use the Service only with a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
We and our providers process information in the United States, and possibly in other countries.
By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and handled in places whose privacy laws differ from those where you live.
We may update this policy, and we will tell you before a material change takes effect.
We will post the new version with an updated effective date and, for material changes, email you at least 14 days in advance. Using the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
Privacy questions and requests go to [email protected].
